This side of the Howell Peak Wilderness Study Area is indicative of the escarpment that comprises the entire west side of the House Range.
The old Millard County pickup sits at a crossroads in Tule Valley and shows the longevity of anything abandoned in this dry environment (bullet holes notwithstanding).
There is a cave in the cliff (below) called Council Cave by some of the local residents. It is large enough to hold many people inside its huge wind-hollowed cavern.
There are other caves to be found in the area as well as ancient fossils, unique flora and fauna , and occasional periods of serious peace and quiet.
